Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about Iki Nori Sushi Handroll Bar

Do you take reservations?

No — we're walk-in only. It's part of the experience. Grab a seat at the bar when one opens up.

What are your hours?

Monday–Thursday: 12–3 PM and 5–10 PM. Friday: 12–3 PM and 5–11 PM. Saturday: 5–11 PM. We're closed on Sundays.

What's a handroll?

It's a cone-shaped piece of crispy nori (seaweed) filled with seasoned rice and fresh fish. You eat it with your hands, right when it's made. Think of it as sushi's more fun, more casual cousin.

Do you have omakase?

Yes! We offer an omakase experience — a chef's choice tasting that showcases the best fish we have that day. Ask your server for details and availability.

Is the fish fresh?

Everything is sourced daily. We don't pre-make anything. Your handroll is assembled the moment you order it.

Do you serve cooked options?

Most of our menu features raw fish, but we have some cooked options. Let your server know about any preferences and we'll guide you.

Do you serve alcohol?

Yes — cocktails, sake, and Japanese beer. Our cocktails are Japanese-inspired and change seasonally.

Where can I park?

Street parking is available along Sunset Blvd and side streets (metered). There are also several parking lots nearby in Hollywood.

Can I get takeout?

We don't recommend it. Handrolls need to be eaten immediately — that's literally the whole point. The nori goes soft in about 2 minutes. Come in and enjoy them fresh!

How much does it cost?

Individual handrolls range from $6-16 depending on the fish. A filling meal for one usually runs $30-50. The omakase is priced separately.

Is it good for a date?

Absolutely. Sitting at the sushi bar, watching the chefs work, sharing rolls and cocktails — it's one of the better date spots in Hollywood.

Do you have vegetarian options?

We have a few vegetable-based rolls, but this is primarily a fish-focused menu. Let us know and we'll do what we can.

Can I bring a group?

We can seat small groups at the bar. For larger parties, give us a call at (323) 994-9478 to check availability.

Where are you located?

6464 Sunset Blvd, Hollywood, CA 90028 — near the corner of Sunset and Wilcox. Right in the middle of everything.

What's the vibe?

Casual, fun, a little bit buzzy. Think quality sushi bar without the stuffiness. Great music, great energy, great fish.
